World Health Day
The theme for 2021 World Health Day (7 April) was Building a Fairer and Healthier World.
Dr. Farwa Rizvi, a medical practitioner and researcher chats about what how we can build a fairer and healthier world. And, also the sustainable developmental goals set by the UN on reproductive health. She also chatted about women’s health, including unintended pregnancies; how to access contraceptives; the right to get married and the effects of pregnancies on teenage girls; and the right age to have a baby. As always we discussed the important subject of family and societal pressures on a girl, and the right to her body.
